Requirements:
An applicant should hold a graduate degree in creative writing, or possibly in a related field, in combination with a record of publication of creative work. As we at RWU aim to promote an inclusive environment, we seek candidates who can contribute to these aims and demonstrate an array of related competencies in the areas of equity and inclusion. We strongly encourage applications from those belonging to groups that have been historically underrepresented in higher education, including women, ethnic minorities, differently-abled, lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender; and artwork, curriculum, and research about underrepresented groups. At the University’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be accepted where the candidate can demonstrate, to the satisfaction of the University, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
