•Yale University The Yale School of the Environment (YSE) invites applications for a Professor in the Practice of Collaborative Solutions, with expertise in the broad area of environmental dialogue and conflict resolution. Professors in the Practice at Yale are distinguished practitioners who demonstrate eminence in the field, sustained accomplishment, and ongoing activity in their area of practice. An initial appointment will be for a 5-year term, renewable upon mutual agreement. The successful candidate will establish an innovative Collaborative Solutions Program (CSP) at YSE that convenes diverse stakeholders in environmental conflicts and engages them in dialogue to build consensus, mediate conflicts, resolve disputes, and develop collaborative solutions at local, regional, and global scales. The CSP can draw on the expertise of faculty at YSE and other departments and professional schools at Yale (e.g., the Yale Law School, School of Management, School of Public Health, etc.), and on other YSE initiatives such as The Forests Dialogue and the Yale Environmental Dialogue , to support their activities.
