Position Summary and Qualifications:
Saint Joseph’s University’s Environmental Science Program has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester. Trained experts with teaching and/or professional experience and a passion for teaching at the undergraduate level will be given preference. Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an “as needed” basis. Courses available for adjunct staffing are offered during the day and also in the evening. Courses available for adjunct staffing may include: Non-Major lecture and/or lab introductory courses in environmental science. Less often, a few major-level courses may need instructors, including, but not limited to, Environmental Risk Assessment and Management, Environmental Microbiology, Environmental Law, Environmental Toxicology.
