The Humanities & Social Sciences Program at Tulane University’sSchool of Professional Advancement (SoPA) seeks qualifiedindividuals for its part-time Adjunct Lecturer pool and welcomesapplicants at any time. The specific courses involved will varyfrom semester to semester; openings to teach these courses developon a periodic basis depending on department teaching needs. SoPAcourses may be taught at the Uptown campus, Elmwood campus, oronline. The anticipated need is for Adjunct Lecturer to teachundergraduate courses in humanities and social sciences that mayinclude but are not limited to courses in the following areas:
Anthropology Art History Communication English Ethnic Studies Gender and Sexuality Studies History Philosophy Political Science Religious Studies Sociology Urban Studies Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a humanities or social sciences field, Ph.D.preferred University-level teaching experience is preferred
