General Adjunct Faculty Pool, Liberal Studies and Early College, Fall 2025
Applications are being accepted to create a pool of qualified instructors for possible future part-time teaching positions. Applications will be reviewed and interviews scheduled continuously on an as-needed basis. All applications remain on file for one year from the submission date. Note, these are in person teaching opportunities.

Credit-Catalog/Course-Description Requirements:
A Master’s degree in the content field with graduate-level credit in content area required. MaT and MEd degrees are not considered content degrees.
Experience scaffolding rigorous academic content Teaching experience Familiarity with critical studies (i.e., Critical Race Theory, Critical White Studies, Gender and Women’s Studies) and understanding of appropriate applications for teaching.
Candidates will be required to pass a
CORI/SORI
background check as a condition of employment at both the college and the respective high school.
Preferred qualifications:
Fluency in Spanish or another language other than English (candidates should note their level of proficiency in their cover letter and resume).

Adjunct salaries are dependent upon the number of credit hours. This is a non-benefited, MCCC position.
