Description
Serve as a substitute teacher or classroom floater as needed.
Assist teachers in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
Support children with daily routines, including meals, nap time, and activities. Help with administrative tasks, including maintaining records, organizing supplies, and assisting the director and secretary.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program. Foster positive, respectful interactions with students, parents, and faculty.
Promote an inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s Degree.
Must be enrolled in a graduate program at the University of West Alabama.
Ability to effectively engage with preschool students, staff, faculty, and administration. Dedication to implementing creative and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Positive attitude.

Desired:

Prior Experience working with children (early childhood education, daycare, or teaching experience preferred).
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to handle various responsibilities and adapt to different roles as needed. Application Instructions
