Job Opportunity:

Experienced Homeschool Educator

• We are looking for a highly qualified and energetic educator to homeschool our three children, ages 5 to 13 years. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in all subjects up to 12th grade and will be dedicated to helping our children catch up and excel academically. We are open to virtual teaching options for candidates with exceptional qualifications.

• Monday to Friday, Day shift

• $25.00
• $30.00 per hour

• Location:

• In-person (with virtual options available for qualified candidates)

• Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for the school year, incorporating our existing curriculum and innovative learning experiences.
• Provide instruction across all subjects, focusing on both bridging educational gaps and advancing students’ knowledge.
• Engage in creative teaching methods, including science experiments, debates, field trips, outdoor studies, communication skills, finance education, and anatomy.

• Requirements:

• 1.

Must possess a valid teaching certification. 2. Previous teaching experience, particularly with students facing reading difficulties. 3. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Broward County. 4. Comfortable tutoring all subjects for grades Pre-K through 8. 5. Availability for in-person or virtual interviews. 6. Must be comfortable with in-person tutoring and teaching. 7. Open to working part-time hours.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• 1. Experience with homeschooling. 2. Flexibility to work weekdays. 3. Ability to take direction and suggestions, with confidence in teaching math, English, science, and social studies for grades Pre-K through 12th. 4. Availability from September until the end of May.
