Job Description:

The Berry Center for Integrity in Leadership (BCIL) seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Graduate Assistant to support its work in developing leadership excellence rooted in our education of the head, heart, and hands. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain professional experience while completing graduate studies.

Responsibilities:

This role involves managing a student team by delegating projects, clearly communicating expectations, and establishing deadlines. The assistant will serve as a central point of coordination, helping students stay on track and ensuring successful outcomes for various initiatives such as event marketing, social media management, and graphic design for the center.
The Graduate Assistant will also oversee the daily operations of the Berry College circle of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK), a National Leadership Honor Society, ensuring the chapter runs smoothly by coordinating events, managing communications, and maintaining compliance with organizational standards.
Basic office operations will also fall under the Graduate Assistant’s purview. This includes managing schedules, handling correspondence, maintaining supplies, and supporting an organized, efficient office environment.
Additionally, the Graduate Assistant will assist with budgeting processes, including expense tracking and receipt reconciliation. They will work closely with the BCIL staff to maintain accurate records and support financial planning efforts.
The Graduate Assistant will regularly attend meetings alongside the professional staff to stay informed about projects and initiatives within BCIL and its partners. By being actively engaged in discussions and planning sessions, they will help support ongoing programs and contribute to the center’s activities.

Requirements:

Applicants must be enrolled in Berry College’s MBA program and possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with team leadership or project management is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and various social media platforms (or willingness to learn)
