Job Description

Franklin Pierce University Women’s Hockey

  • Graduate Assistant Coach The Franklin Pierce University Women’s Ice Hockey program is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Graduate Assistant Coach.

The Graduate Assistant position is a two year position and includes tuition remission along with a stipend of $4,000 annually. Housing is not included, but is available on-campus for $200/month. Acceptance of the position is contingent upon successful admission into the University’s Graduate School.   • On and Off campus recruiting of qualified student athletes
  • Assist with fundraising activities
  • Assist with practice planning and implementation
  • Primary on-ice focus with team’s defensemen and goaltenders, but will work with all positions
  • Monitoring of academics and study halls
  • Assist with team travel and game day operations, as well as scheduling, organizing, and general office work
  • Team Social Media/Video program
  • Adherence to all NCAA rules and regulations
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree required
  • Previous coaching experience and/or successful NCAA or Junior playing experience required
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
