Academic Family Medicine in Southern Louisiana Southern LA – University town on the lake 1 hour to Beaumont 120 miles to Baton Rouge 140 miles to Houston 190 miles to Louis Armstrong NOLA International Airport (MSY) FM and Orthopedic Residency Programs Parish of over 200,000 Hospital is adding Academic Family Medicine physicians to their team to teach the next generation of Family Medicine physicians.
Details:
Employed by the Hospital ACGME Accredited for 25+ years 20 Residents Responsibilities center on the education and development of 20 Residents Visiting 3rd & 4th year med students from both allopathic & osteopathic universities, precepting residents, didactics prep and presentations, and 1 every 7 weeks of an inpatient team lead.
Adding:
Day Hospitalist – 7 on 7 o f f, no vent management Core Faculty Outpatient or Traditional (in/out) Family Medicine with OB Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track)
