Position Overview:
NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to observe, assess and instruct students at various clinical sites with emphasis on strengthen scanning skills, patient care, image acquisition and interpretation skills in preparation for entry into the sonography field.

Course Description:
Four days per week of final clinical experience to strengthen scanning and interpretation skills in preparation for and entry into the sonography field.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical instruction aligned with program and clinical site goals and standards.
Assess student performance based on provided curriculum and instructional material.
Document the evaluation and progression of clinical performance leading to clinical competence.
Review syllabus, course objectives, learning outcomes and assessment tools.
Facilitate clinical discussions, assignments, and assessments to foster student engagement and learning.
Provide regular feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress via Canvas and/or Trajecsys.
Comply with college and clinical site policies and standards.
Record and report student learning outcomes to program coordinator.
Be available to students and sites during assigned clinical hours.
Strongly encouraged to attend meetings and events related to the program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Must possess a minimum of an associate degree in related discipline.
Experience:
Must hold active RDMS ABD and OB/GYN or ARRT (S) credential. Minimum three years’ experience in ABD and OB/GYN ultrasound imaging.
Residency:
Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, RI, or CT.
Preferred qualifications:
ARDMS RVT.
Bachelor degree or above. Prior teaching experience.
