Occupational Therapy Part-Time Clinical Instructors (25-31)
Part-Time Faculty
LMEC The Occupational Therapy Doctoral Program is inviting applications for master’s (preferred) or baccalaureate prepared, part-time Clinical Instructors for the Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 semesters (May-August, August-December 2025).

Qualifications:

Earned

MOT/MSOT

(preferred) or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or BSOTA.
Two years (fulltime) clinical experience.
Licensed as an OTR in South Carolina.
Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities:

Teaches in on-campus simulation laboratory, skills laboratory, and/or clinical setting supervising first- or second-year entry-level occupational therapy doctoral students. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Organize and plan clinical instruction for students.
Communicate weekly with Academic Fieldwork Coordinator, Program Director, and/or Course Instructor.
Provide feedback on all required clinical paperwork.
Participate in course orientation (Adjunct Orientation Day, August 2025).
Read adjunct faculty and student handbooks.
Orient to the clinical facility if not employed in the facility.
Submit all needed paperwork, criminal background check, drug screen, and vaccination records for hire.
Assurepletion of necessary student records/reports by designated due date and forward to Academic Fieldwork Coordinator and/or Course Instructor. midterm warnings to the Course Instructor and/or Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for processing.
Role model professional behavior and appearance.
