Occupational Therapy Part-Time Didactic Instructor (25-34)
Part-Time Faculty
LMEC Francis Marion University and the Occupational Therapy Program are inviting applications for a doctoral-prepared, part-time didactic instructor for the Fall semester (Academic Year 2025-2026).
Qualifications:
Earned Terminal Degree in their field of expertise.
Minimum of two years’ clinical experience in their field of practice.
Licensed in South Carolina as an OT or otherwise regulated as required by their profession.
Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring
Responsibilities:
Teaching on-campus in the classroom or simulation/skills laboratory.
Serves as student capstone mentor.
Reads adjunct faculty and student handbooks.
Develops, teaches and maintains curriculum in areas of expertise as determined by the Program.
Director/Department Chair.
Communicates weekly with the Program Director and/or Academic Fieldwork Coordinator.
Participates in course orientation (Adjunct Orientation Day, Wednesday, August 16th) with Program Director.
Submits all needed paperwork, criminal background check, drug screen and vaccination records for hire.
Assurespletion of necessary student records/reports by designated due date andmunicates with Program Director or designee.
s midterm warnings to the Program Director or designee for processing.
Role models professional behavior and appearance.
