The Division of Hematology-Oncology at Vanderbilt UniversityMedical Center is seeking two oncologists orhematologist/oncologists to join the Vanderbilt-Ingram CancerCenter, a National Cancer Institute (NCI) designated comprehensivecancer center. Both positions are for the rapidly enlarging networkof ambulatory cancer clinics. The predominant criteria for allappointments are commitment to excellence in clinical care, patientsatisfaction, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine,and institutional service. The successful candidate would beboard-certified (or eligible, with plans for certification) inMedical Oncology and Hematology with training from an academicmedical center.
Our current network includes the Vanderbilt-IngramCancer Center clinics at Cool Springs, Springhill and Springfield,Hendersonville & Pleasant View- all located within 30 miles of themain campus. All network sites will have telemedicineinfrastructure to seamlessly interact with specialists, diseasespecific tumor boards, and molecular tumor boards at the maincampus. This integration enables us to make a greater commitment topatient care and provide all the core services of an NCI designatedcomprehensive cancer center in the community.
