Position Summary
Aviation Summer Camp Director (PT)
$024-$248 for a 4-day aviation camp, including preparation days. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
In addition to adhering to the general guidelines as specified by the Faculty/ Staff Handbook, the Dean of Instruction, the Dean of Students, the President, and Board of Trustees, responsibilities will include the following:
Assist in developing activities and schedule for the summer camp
Oversee the operations of the camp
Supervise instructors and students to ensure safety
Attend all field trip Effectively communicate with supervisor, students, and parents
Conduct orientation with parents and students
Coordinate transportation and logistics for any field trips or off-site activities
Purchase needed resources for the summer camp Ensure a safe environment by enforcing all safety protocols and policies
Address any issues, concerns, or emergencies that arise during camp Evaluate the camp success and make recommendation for improvements
Maintain accurate records and other reports Submit reports requested by the Associate Dean of Learning and the Dean of Instruction
Work well with others and show respect to all college constituents
Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Associate Dean of Learning, the Dean of Instruction, or the President Qualifications
Required Qualifications
A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field At least year of supervisory experience Effective oral and written communication skills proficient computer skills Preferred Qualifications
An understanding of a commitment to the philosophy and mission of the two -year college system
