This is a leadership and recruiting position within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. This position will be responsible for managing undergraduate, first-time freshman student recruitment within the state of Alabama. The duties of this position include: Recruitment Organizes and implements recruitment plans for incoming freshman within the state of Alabama. Conducts information sessions and high school visits within a small recruitment territory in Alabama. Determines applicant admissibility. Works with current UAB students to share UAB student stories with prospective applicants. Management Responsible for the daily workflow of the department including employee training, work assignments, quality control of output, productivity standards, general office or unit management and customer service. Provides topical instruction, guidance and problem resolution for the department providing strong customer service. Provides technical instruction for the in-state recruitment team as it pertains to CRM utilization (Salesforce/Banner). Assists in decisions regarding policy and procedure. This position will be based on campus at UAB. (
Annual Salary:
$57,940 – $70,000) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed with a Driver’s License from the State of Alabama required.
