To create vision, lead programmatic mission and supervise personnel providing advising and recruitment services in the School of Health Professions. Oversee and supervise daily administration of academic advising services; plan, oversee and monitor recruitment activities; and plan, oversee and evaluate student engagement activities. Execute centralized operational strategy aligned with the School of Health Professions strategic plan. To seek ways to actively promote and recognize principles of fairness and equity, in relation to all identities represented among our diverse communities, with regard to student recruitment and advising. Duties & Responsibilities Provides overall strategic direction, advice and leadership to program directors and administrators on all matters relating to student advising, recruiting and student engagement. Manages and/or facilitates all administrative processes related to student advising, recruiting and student engagement as a centralized service for School of Health Professions. Serves as liaison between student advising services and the Dean’s office. Ensures compliance with all applicable policies and procedures. Oversees student advising processes for the School of Health Professions. Supervise staff and provide feedback as lead advisor. Responsible for gathering and analyzing staff productivity and outcomes data and prepares evaluative reports to administrators. Determine needed changes and process revisions needed to continually provide high quality advising services on a consistent basis. Develops and oversees student engagement activities, initiatives and programs that align with the School of Health Professions strategic and administrative direction. Develops communication strategies for the office, including resources for faculty, staff and students, regarding student centered outreach initiatives and events. Implements comprehensive recruitment initiatives to attract students to School of Health Professions. Prepares evaluative reports related to student recruitment goals for SHP programs. Determine changes and process revisions needed to continually provide effective recruiting services. Responsible for planning and overseeing delivery of the SHP First Year Experience for students, including course design, delivery and course website management. Conducts annual assessment of need for revisions and updates. Seeks ways to actively promote and recognize principles of fairness and equity, in relation to all identities represented among our diverse communities with regard to student recruitment and advising. Acts as representative for the School of Health Professions in local, regional and national settings related to student advising and recruiting services. Performs other duties as assigned.

Annual Salary Range:

$63,875 – $103,800 Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field and seven (7) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
