Job Description

The department of Housing & Residence Life in the division of Student Affairs at the University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Area Coordinator. This position is a full-time, live-in professional staff position. This position is primarily responsible for an assigned area of on-campus housing area which totals 1,300-1,500 residents. The area coordinator is the primary facilitator in the development of a residential learning environment, facility management, and overall administrative operations. The incumbent in this position must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Duties include direct supervision of 15-20 paraprofessional student staff including resident advisors, sorority house managers, graduate assistants, advising student groups, and ancillary duties as assigned.
