Working Title (if different from Position Title) Job Summary The Graduate Assistant for Student Engagement within the Office of Admissions will support the Office of Admissions in enhancing student engagement through the Personalized Visit Experience, large-scale prospective student events, and admissions programming aimed at enhancing student access and enrollment at Auburn University. This role requires a proactive and organized individual who can work collaboratively with various stakeholders to create meaningful and impactful experiences for prospective students and their families. Essential Functions Large-Scale Prospective Student Events
Support the planning and implementation of large-scale events such as open houses, prospective student receptions, information sessions, and admitted student events.
Assist in event promotion, registration management, and on-the-day coordination to ensure smooth execution.
Work with campus partners, including academic departments, student organizations, and facilities management, to deliver comprehensive and engaging events.
Collect and analyze event feedback to inform future planning and improvements. Personalized Visit Experience
Assist professional staff in the planning, coordination, and execution of personalized campus visits for prospective students and their families.
Coordinate with faculty, staff, and student ambassadors to tailor visit schedules to meet the interests and needs of prospective students.
Collect and analyze feedback from visitors to continuously improve the visit experience.
Ensure all logistical arrangements, including scheduling, transportation, and accommodation, are efficiently managed Admissions Programming
Support the development and execution of admissions programming designed to attract and engage prospective students.
Assist in creating and distributing marketing materials, including email campaigns, social media content, and printed materials.
Participate in outreach activities such as school visits, college fairs, and virtual events.
Provide support for application processing, including data entry, document verification, and applicant communication. This position will apply functional knowledge, skills, and abilities from the educational program that are related to the administration and coordination of leadership and curriculum development.
