This position assists with student-athlete retention and academic success of the student-athletes, and serves as community liaison.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize class schedules with advisers and track graduation progress Monitor the requirements of the academic progress rates Oversee study halls and tutoring on campus, and on the road Work closely with academic success center Serve as liaison to the Head Coach in academics, including working with compliance and admissions Work with players and academic advisers on NCAA eligibility center Involve student-athletes in our community on and off-campus Coordinate with local groups to make our players visible in the community outside the game of football Manage player communications on and off the field regarding day-to-day operations Manage player off-season planning regarding summer school, summer access and travel Assist with data analysis, create reports, and present data and film analysis to players and coaches Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, proven effective oral and written communication skills, and have a demonstrated commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
