The successful candidate supervises a residential community that promotes learning and a caring Christian atmosphere that will enhance personal and spiritual engagement for residents. The selected individual must be available to reside on campus. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ. This is a full-time, 12-month position.

Summary of Duties:

Supervise daily operations and programs of the residence hall; serve as liaison for the University with student residents, parents and visitors Develop and coordinate educational, social, and spiritual programs Submit accident and conduct reports to the proper department(s) including Dean of Students, Residence Life and/or Campus Security Interview, recommend for hire and train hired Resident Assistants (RAs) and Head Resident (HR); administer training and professional development plans Meet regularly with Resident Assistants to address any issues or concerns Assist in overseeing general facility operations to include regular on-site inspections and reporting of maintenance problems Maintain a list of all student residents in assigned facility Responsible for contacting parents/guardians about any emergency concerning student as outlined within HIPAA guidelines

Qualifications:
