out of 5 stars Troy, AL The Records specialist II serves the University under the direct supervision of the Assistant Registrar and is responsible for, but not limited to: Assisting with daily operations of the University Registrar’s Office to ensure students, staff, alumni, and faculty have a positive experience. Monitoring phone lines and department email Serving as a departmental contact for electronic communications, University forms, and University ticketing system. Corresponding with various University Offices such as Financial Aid, Student Financial Affairs, Admissions, Academic Departments, etc. • Maintaining academic records to include processing change of home locations, change of Majors/Minors, and updating personal information, • Updating Degree maps – which are created in Adobe InDesign. Updates Commencement information on the website Has the ability to perform or process transcript requests, registration, and verifications, Assisting with end of term processing by processing change of grade forms, incomplete grade forms, corrections to transcript codes. Assisting student and faculty with University Registrar processes and systems. Working in cooperation with the Graduation Center and Academic evaluation Center to maintain or process academic evaluations, course substitutions, petition for transfer credits, intent to graduate forms and appeals. Scans documentation into student academic records in Document Imaging system Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Registrar and Campus Registrar. Minimum Qualifications 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2. Minimum of two years of clerical office work experience 3. Proficient computer skills 4.
