As our Admissions Representative, you will play a vital role in guiding prospective residents and their families through the admissions process with empathy and professionalism. You will be the first point of contact, setting the tone for a positive experience and ensuring a smooth transition into our community. What you’ll be doing: Serving as the primary point of contact for inquiries regarding admissions, providing information about our services, amenities, and care options. Conducting tours of our facility and highlighting the features and benefits of choosing us. Guiding families through the application and admission paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Verifying insurance coverage and coordinating with business office staff. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inquiries and admissions. Building and maintaining positive relationships with hospitals, healthcare professionals, and community organizations to generate referrals. Participating in marketing and outreach events as needed. Collaborating effectively with our nursing, social services, and administrative teams to ensure a seamless admission process. Maintaining a strong understanding of relevant regulations and admission policies. What you’ll bring: Proven experience in admissions, marketing, customer service, or a related field, within a healthcare setting. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with diverse individuals. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to assist others during a sensitive time. Proficiency in basic computer applications. Knowledge of healthcare insurance and the admissions process in long-term care is a plus. A high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
