Job Summary:
The Manager of Academic Advising provides direct supervision of Academic Advisors. Hires, trains, and conducts performance evaluations. May oversee a specific type of academic advising.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of student advising experience in higher education; OR master’s degree and three (3) years of student advising experience in higher education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education or related field, with teaching certification. Knowledge of University, College of Education, and State Department of Education regulations. Work experience in student records, supervisory capacity, and in student-oriented leadership position at university level.
