Must be assertive, adaptable, and dependable. Able to handle noise and oversee over a hundred young men in a supervisory roll. Apartment, meals and small monthly stipend in exchange for duties. In exchange for the position’s requirements, the House Director(s) will be compensated with room and board, meals, and a small monthly stipend. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO LIVE IN THE FRATERNITY HOUSE AND PASS A NATIONAL BACKGROUND AND DRUG TEST.
If you cannot meet this requirement, please do not apply. The House Director is a full-time live-in position with responsibility for the day-to-day operations of one fraternity house in the Greek community.
The director will:
Oversee the operation of the facility Coordinate the schedule for housekeeper, chef, and other employees Monitor successful execution of in-house events Coordinate and conduct health and fire safety inspections Oversee the opening and closing of the house (room check in and check outs)Provide emergency on-call support Maintain availability 24 hours a day/7 days a week Ensure compliance with the University policy Enforce house-specific policies as needed Communicate any behavior problems of brothers Attend dinners with brotherhood Host football game BBQs and assist with crowd control if necessary This fraternity employs an outside management company to handle all invoicing and accounts payable, and to assist with property management and fire inspection.
