This role involves conducting initial phone screenings, providing information about our treatment programs, and ensuring a seamless admissions process. Additionally, this position requires maintaining accurate records, upholding patient confidentiality, and effectively communicating with referral sources and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Patient Inquiry & Admissions Support Conduct initial telephone screenings to assess patient eligibility based on admissions criteria. Provide clear, compassionate information to patients and families regarding treatment options, the admissions process, and expectations. Effectively address inquiries, overcoming objections and guiding potential patients toward informed decisions about care. Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanor when interacting with referral sources, prospective patients, and external partners. Communication & Coordination Answer and direct calls promptly and professionally, ensuring accurate message-taking and routing. Input and update patient demographic and referral data accurately within Salesforce. Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce, including lead ratings, follow-up call logs, and relevant communication updates. Respond to emails and other inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Compliance & Confidentiality Uphold patient confidentiality and privacy in compliance with federal and state regulations and organizational policies. Access protected health information (PHI) only as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities. Promptly report any concerns regarding patient privacy policies or observed violations to the appropriate supervisor. Clinical & Behavioral Competency Recognize and appropriately respond to situations involving suicidality, homicidality, trauma, addiction, and dual-diagnosis issues. Demonstrate an understanding of addiction treatment principles relevant to the role. Follow protocols for escalating concerns and coordinating care when necessary. General Administrative & Operational Duties Accurately prepare and type correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed. Utilize supervision effectively, incorporating feedback and addressing concerns raised by leadership. Demonstrate accountability by completing all assigned tasks with attention to quality and efficiency. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization’s mission and operational success.
