Director of Admissions Woof Gang Academy of Grooming 1294 North Federal Highway, Pompano Beach, FL 33062 Job Overview The Director of Admissions plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our institution by leading the admissions team in attracting and enrolling a diverse student body. This position requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about education, possesses strong public speaking skills, and has a deep understanding of the admissions process within a university setting. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience in education administration and academic advising to enhance the recruitment strategy and ensure a seamless admissions experience for prospective students. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract prospective students. Oversee the admissions process from initial inquiry to enrollment, ensuring an efficient and positive experience for all applicants. Collaborate with academic departments to align recruitment efforts with institutional goals and program offerings. Conduct presentations and information sessions to educate prospective students about the university’s programs, culture, and admission requirements. Utilize Ellucian software for managing student records, tracking applications, and generating reports. Train and supervise admissions staff, fostering a collaborative environment focused on student success. Engage in outreach activities, including high school visits, college fairs, and community events to promote the university. Analyze enrollment data to assess trends and adjust strategies accordingly. Experience Bachelor’s degree in Education Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience working with students in an academic setting, preferably within higher education. Strong background in recruiting and admissions processes. Excellent public speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. Familiarity with Ellucian or similar student information systems is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
