Admissions Application Evaluator 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars 401 W Kennedy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33606 Position Details The Office of Admissions at The University of Tampa has an opening for an Admissions Application Evaluator. This position generally performs undergraduate admission file evaluation and data entry and will report to the Director, Undergraduate Admissions. Responsibilities 1. Evaluates undergraduate Admission applications according to University parameters. 2. Performs mathematical computations. 3. Performs data entry. 4. Interprets high school transcripts, college transcripts, and college examination test scores. 5. Reads and grades essays. 6. Collects, compiles, edits and analyzes data according to standardized methods and procedures for statistical studies and presents results for final interpretation by others. 7. Supervises part-time evaluator(s). 8. Other miscellaneous assigned duties that arise during the course of the annual enrollment cycle. 9 Contribute to a work environment that encourages knowledge of, respect for, and development of skills to engage with those of all cultures and backgrounds. Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree required. 2. Experience in education preferred. 3. Good interpersonal and organizational skills needed as well as the ability to establish priorities and manage time wisely. 4. Excellent mathematical skills. 5. Proficient with data entry. 6. Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends. 7. Knowledge of or the ability to learn quickly The University of Tampa software programs such as Workday, Slate and Microsoft Office. 8. Willingness to embrace new technologies and innovative organizational practices.
