We are also home to top touring tennis professionals in the world as well as our collegiate tennis team who were NJCAA national champions in 2025, 2023, and 2008. We were also a former host site for a premier PPA event featuring Ben Johns, Simone Jardim, and others. Our programming features open court play as well as clinics, lessons, and leagues. We also host several different tournaments, leagues, and special events throughout the year. Our goal is to always provide a positive experience to our customers, grow the game of pickleball, and to share the love we have for pickleball with the entire Tampa Bay community and beyond! Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Head Pickleball Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pickleball instruction as well as running events, tournaments, etc. This role involves coaching private lessons, group clinics, and camps as well as training coaches on the team, planning/running pickleball events, and providing administrative support to the Director. The Head Pickleball Professional will work closely with the Director as well as our other departments, ensuring that pickleball programming and operations are running smoothly and performing well. Responsibilities Coach private lessons, group clinics, and camps. Assist the Director in pickleball program development, growth, and oversight. Develop and execute a calendar of pickleball events such as tournaments, special events, socials, fundraisers, in-house leagues, etc. Hold weekly check-in meetings with the coaching staff and provide training to coaches as needed. Administrative work that includes but not limited to: Marketing/promoting club events, sending weekly announcements/emails regarding pickleball programming/events, client communication, evaluating clinic attendances, evaluating key reports and metrics regarding program success, and other misc. administrative tasks as assigned. Experience A strong coaching background with at least 3+ years of coaching experience PPR, RSPA, IPTPA, or other equivalent certification coaching certification DUPR 4.5+ playing ability is preferred
