Job Description:

As an associate director of admission, you will assist with theplanning and completion of recruitment and enrollment strategies.

You will strive to meet SCAD application and enrollment goals bybuilding individual relationships with students and educators, andwill maintain accurate and thorough records in Salesforce forstudent, organization, volunteer, and travel management. You willtravel to strategically identified schools to meet with prospectivestudents and their families, as well as to attend educational andprofessional conferences with the goal of fosteringrelationships.

In this role, you will advocate for students bypreparing electronic material submissions and other academicdocuments for scholarship and admission review. You will record andtrack active applicant files and contact information using Bannerand Salesforce. You will proactively communicate with applicantsand admitted students following an established schedule to ensurethe highest proportion of right-fit students complete theapplication process and understand the opportunities available atSCAD. Additionally, you will stay knowledgeable about alluniversity policies and procedures to effectively share accurateinformation regarding programs of study and locations,scholarships, housing, transfer credit, and registration.

In thisposition, you will mentor new staff members, participate in allquarterly staff orientations, provide feedback to admissionleadership, and ensure that SCAD alumni services and parentambassadors are utilized to support the university’s recruitmentefforts. Among other duties, you will also ensure all assignedevents are successfully planned, confirmed, and completed, and willcover LiveAgent shifts, SCAD tours, and meetings with parents andstudents.

The successful candidate is a charismatic self-starter whois comfortable working independently.

Work Hours:

The university work week is Sundaythrough Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees maybe assigned to other workdays and/or hours, including weekends andevenings.
