Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to inquiries and referrals. Collaborate with the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Marketing team to manage admissions and support census goals. Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth resident admissions and transitions. Oversee timely and accurate completion of the Admission Agreement. Greet new residents and families; ensure rooms are prepared and staff introductions are made. Communicate admission criteria to residents, families, and referral sources. Review financial eligibility, request authorizations, and document insurance details in PointClickCare (PCC). Supervise and delegate tasks to the Admissions Coordinator; complete audits to ensure adherence to standard processes. Participate in monthly QAPI meetings. Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians, social workers, and discharge planners to support referrals and admissions. Ensure residents and families receive high-quality, compassionate service that respects their needs and rights.

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of admissions or marketing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. Strong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills. Bilingual preferred. Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care regulations (preferred). Familiarity with nursing home admission regulations and resident rights (preferred). Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Availity (preferred).
