The Office of Academic Affairs providesoversight of the education curriculum and enables the success ofstudents and faculty in teaching and learning, research, andcreative expression. The Opportunity:

The Pre-Clerkship Coordinator supportsthe coordination and delivery of pre-clerkship academic programs.

This includes working with course faculty, directors, andinstitutional staff to ensure the effective planning andimplementation of curriculum activities while maintainingcompliance with accreditation standards. This position reports tothe Assistant Director Pre-ClerkshipEducation.

Responsibilities:

Strategically implement, and oversee academic programs forpre-clerkship medical education. Coordinate comprehensive curriculum alignment withinstitutional and accreditation standards, ensuring systematic andhigh-quality educational delivery. Administer complex learning management systems, provideadvanced technological support, and optimize digital educationalplatforms. Develop robust training protocols for faculty and ensureseamless technological infrastructure for educationaldelivery. Serve as the primary strategic point of contact forcurriculum-related student interactions. Monitor academic performance, implement proactive supportmechanisms, and provide nuanced guidance to support student successand professional development. Provide comprehensive support to course directors and facultymembers. Facilitate multiple communication channels, develop resourceframeworks, and create targeted support initiatives to enhanceinstructional quality and curriculum implementation. Execute sophisticated assessment strategies across multipleplatforms. Implement comprehensive examination protocols, ensure academicintegrity, manage complex scheduling requirements, and implementrobust proctoring mechanisms for diverse assessmentenvironments. Manage critical documentation processes for program evaluationand accreditation. Develop analytical tracking systems, generatecomprehensive reports, and provide strategic insights to supportinstitutional assessment and continuous improvementefforts. Facilitate cross-departmental communication, identify systemicimprovement opportunities, and implement innovativesolutions. Represent pre-clerkship academic programs in strategicinstitutional initiatives and drive organizationaleffectiveness. Delivers strategic curriculum support to M1/M2 coordinatorswhile serving as a backup as needed. Proctors both in-person and virtual assessmentactivities. Other duties as assigned to include but not limited to thetimely completion of university and college trainings andupdates.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, and 2+ yearsof relevant experience Or an equivalent combination of educationand experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.

PreferredQualifications:

Experience in higher education Strong organizational and time management skills; ability tomanage multiple priorities. Familiarity/experience with an LMS such as Webcourses@UCF(Canvas) and KuraCloud; as well as administrative tools (Astra,PeopleSoft). Written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborateeffectively with faculty and across departments.
