We are searching for a dynamic individual who works collaboratively with the Associate Vice President of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving in managing and implementing a successful alumni engagement and annual giving program through personal outreach. The Associate is responsible for managing a prospect portfolio and cultivating relationships that lead to participation in the annual giving program. The Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving Associate will be skilled in cultivating relationships that lead to more meaningful engagement and participation in the annual giving program as well as skilled in communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience. The position requires the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and the ability to prioritize and organize work while meeting multiple deadlines. The advancement team is led by award-winning and seasoned professionals who have built a collaborative environment to foster innovation and growth. Professional growth is encouraged through involvement with Higher Education industry organizations, such as CASE and the Forum of Florida Alumni Associations. Key Responsibilities Maintain a personal visit and solicitation goal of 75 visits annually to generate a high level of activity and prospect engagement; record all activity in timely and thorough contact reports. Invite alumni to support the College through targeted giving initiatives such as the Triton Family Challenge, EckerdGives, and other annual campaigns. Identify, solicit, and cultivate first-time donors by leveraging event attendance, volunteer participation, and digital engagement to create personalized outreach strategies. Promote and track employer matching gift opportunities by proactively identifying eligible donors and guiding them through the matching process. Assist in the development and execution of segmented communication strategies using email, social media, and digital platforms to promote giving opportunities and strengthen alumni engagement. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely donor acknowledgement through personalized communications and donor stewardship events. Identify and recruit alumni volunteers to serve as event hosts, panelists, mentors, and peer ambassadors, fostering deeper alumni connections and expanding engagement networks. Collaborate with campus partners, including faculty, the Career Center, Student Life, and the Center for Academic Excellence, to engage alumni in student-facing events and experiential learning opportunities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree plus 2-4 years of related experience in educational fundraising or comparable field. The equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree. Excellent skills in oral and written communication and ability to form meaningful relationships with a broad audience Ability to perform work outside normal business hours as needed.
