Reporting to the Assistant Director, this position collaborates on strategic outreach, applicant communication, and data management to enhance engagement with prospective students and institutional partners. The role helps ensure a smooth, high-touch admissions experience while advancing the college’s transfer and international enrollment goals. Examples of Duties The Coordinator assists with developing and implementing targeted recruitment strategies for transfer and international student populations. Working closely with the Assistant Director, the Coordinator helps identify key markets, build relationships with institutional partners, and participate in outreach efforts that raise awareness of New College’s offerings among prospective students. This role is responsible for organizing the logistics for both virtual and in-person recruitment events such as Transfer Tuesdays, community college visits, and informational sessions with partner organizations. The Coordinator ensures that all event details—from scheduling and promotion to materials preparation and post-event follow-up—are executed smoothly to support successful engagement. Timely, clear, and personalized communication is a central function of this position. The Coordinator responds to inquiries from prospective students and their families through email, phone, and virtual platforms. This ensures consistent follow-up that keeps students informed and engaged throughout the admissions process. The Coordinator maintains accurate records within Slate, New College’s CRM system. Responsibilities include entering student data, managing records, cleaning outdated entries, and generating reports supporting recruitment analysis and decision-making. The Coordinator of Transfer and International Admissions provides essential support in maintaining and advancing institutional partnerships. While the Assistant Director leads the articulation agreement process, the Coordinator assists by drafting documents, tracking agreement statuses, and managing the timely routing and filing of signed agreements with domestic and international partners. The Coordinator also collaborates with cross-functional teams—including Operations and Marketing—to help implement targeted marketing campaigns that promote New College to transfer and global audiences. This includes executing drip campaigns and outreach strategies to enhance student engagement throughout the admissions cycle. This role is key to managing communications with external stakeholders such as community college advisors and international education counselors. The Coordinator ensures these partners receive timely updates, helpful resources, and clear, consistent communication that strengthens their relationship with the College. In support of the admissions process, the Coordinator reviews applications for transfer and international students, contributing to holistic admissions decisions and committee discussions. Delivering excellent customer service is a cornerstone of this role; the Coordinator is expected to provide personalized, responsive, and respectful support to prospective students and their families at every stage of the application process. To do this effectively, the Coordinator maintains up-to-date knowledge of transfer pathways, articulation agreements, and international documentation requirements, allowing them to offer accurate information and guidance. Additionally, the Coordinator is prepared to take on various evolving responsibilities as assigned, adapting to departmental needs and supporting the overall goals of the admissions team. The role involves extensive travel across Florida and out of state, and the ability to lift to 50 pounds is necessary for transporting recruitment materials. Experience leading both on- and off-campus events and familiarity with admissions-related professional organizations are desirable.
