Job Description
Admissions Director Confidential Canton, GA 30114 Overview The Admissions & Marketing Director oversees the execution of all admission and marketing activities for our nursing center. This person will facilitate any tours of the facility for prospective admissions. This person will be the main communication link between local hospitals and our nursing center residents’ families. Must have nursing home admission/marketing experience.
Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining facility occupancy through the implementation of a facility marketing plan Marketing of sales techniques Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly Application of sales techniques Working independently through the building’s relationships with outside referral sources Managing the admissions process to ensure residents and family satisfaction Maintaining a network of referral sources, providing information via marketing materials or presentations as needed Developing, managing, and monitoring new marketing campaigns Following all company policies, procedures, and business ethic codes Attending all staff meetings, training, and educational classes as required Establishing department goals and ensuring all stated goals are met
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in admissions, healthcare administration, or a similar role in a nursing home or healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance regulations related to nursing home admissions. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. _ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. _ Compassion, empathy, and a genuine commitment to serving the needs of elderly residents and their families. PointClickCare experience preferred.
