Duties/Responsibilities Duties/Responsibilities Supervision Recruit, select, train, supervise and evaluate 10-15 residentassistants. Establish and enforce departmental standards. Facilitate weekly staff meeting to disseminate information andpromote team development. Meet regularly with staff to provide motivation, on-goingfeedback and support. Percentage of time 40 Duties/Responsibilities Residential Education Implement the residential curriculum by creating developmentalexperiences that achieve educational outcomes for thecommunity. Promote and support educational initiatives in the residencehalls. Serve as an administrative officer for students involved inpotential housing policy violations. Percentage of time 30 Duties/Responsibilities Crisis Management and Student Support Be knowledgeable of established protocols designed to guideresponses to emergency and other unexpected events. Work closely with students, parents, faculty, administrators,and other stakeholders to resolve problems, answer questions, andclarify policy. Follow up with students of concern and residents involved inincidents that occur in the community. Percentage of time 15 Duties/Responsibilities Administration Participate in all community opening, closing andtransition-related activities. Complete administrative tasks (e.g., curriculum assessments,purchasing paperwork) in a timely, thorough, and accurate manneraccording to established guidelines.
