LocationAtlanta, GAJob SummaryGeorgia Tech’s CREATE-Xprogram is seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Director tolead and manage the Learn section of our entrepreneurshipinitiative. The Learn section is dedicated to educating students inentrepreneurship through experiential courses such as Startup Laband the Jim Pope Fellows program, fostering an entrepreneurialmindset across campus. The Associate Director will play a strategicrole in developing and delivering programs that inspire students toexplore entrepreneurship and acquire the skills needed to launchsuccessful startups.

Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Learnsection, ensuring the effective delivery of programs, courses, andevents that align with the mission of
CREATE-X.
Collaborate with faculty, instructors, and industryprofessionals to develop curriculum content, workshops, andtraining sessions that enhance the entrepreneurial learningexperience. Recruit, manage and mentor instructors, teaching assistants,and student mentors involved in the Learn program, fostering aculture of innovation and excellence. Establish and maintain partnerships with internal and externalstakeholders, including industry experts, alumni, andentrepreneurial communities, to enrich the student learningjourney. Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding process forstudents participating in entrepreneurship courses such as StartupLab and Jim Pope Fellows. Oversee and manage process to register courses in respectivesemesters. Monitor and evaluate program outcomes, including studentengagement, progress, and course effectiveness, and implementdata-driven improvements as needed. Plan, organize, and execute events, speaker series, and guestlectures that connect students with real-world entrepreneurialexperiences. Contribute to outreach and marketing efforts to increaseawareness and participation in the Learn program among students,faculty, and the broader community. Oversee program budgets, track expenses, and ensure efficientresource allocation to meet program objectives. Manage the gathering and reporting of data and key metrics tooverall program goals. Stay informed on trends in entrepreneurship education andintegrate best practices to continually enhance the Learn section’sofferings. A bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, education,or a related field.
Extension Professional II A masters degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or arelated field and three (3) years of relevant full-time experienceafter completion of that degree, or A masters degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or arelated field and five (5) years of relevant full-time experienceafter completion of a bachelor’s degree, or A Doctoral degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, ora related field.
Senior Extension Professional A masters degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or arelated field and seven (7) years of relevant full-time experienceafter completion of that degree, or A masters degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, or arelated field and nine (9) years of relevant full-time experienceafter completion of a bachelors degree, or A Doctoral degree in business, entrepreneurship, education, ora related field and four (4) years of relevant full-time experienceafter completion of a bachelors degree.
Preferred Qualifications 7+ years of experience in program management, entrepreneurshipeducation, or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadershipor supervisory capacity. Deep understanding of entrepreneurship principles andexperience working within startup ecosystems, either in auniversity setting or the private sector. Exceptional organizational, project management, and strategicplanning skills. Proven ability to build and maintain relationships withdistinct stakeholders, including faculty, students, alumni, andindustry professionals. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with theability to engage and inspire students and partners. Experience in developing and implementing educational programsor curriculum design is highly desirable. Familiarity with Georgia Tech -s entrepreneurial ecosystem orsimilar university programs is an asset.
