Continuing Education and External Partnerships Coordinator 4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 4484 Peachtree Dunwoody Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30342 The Coordinator for Continuing Education and External Partnerships will support the university’s mission by identifying and developing strategic, non-degree revenue-generating initiatives beyond the traditional academic calendar. This position plays a central role in launching and managing non-degree continuing education offerings, building external partnerships, and overseeing the planning and execution of summer camps and programs for youth and adults. The goal is to expand the university’s reach, enhance community engagement, and diversify revenue streams. This position requires strong organizational skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and the ability to collaborate effectively with academic departments, external organizations, and campus support offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development & Management Collaborate with the CFO/COO, President, and other senior administrative leadership to develop and manage non-credit continuing education programs, certificate courses, and professional development offerings. Oversee the coordination and implementation of summer programs and camps for youth, including logistics, staffing, registration, and compliance with university policies. Ensure a high-quality experience for all participants across both adult and youth programming. External Partnership Development Identify and cultivate relationships with community organizations, industry partners, and businesses to design and deliver customized training, workshops, and other educational offerings. Serve as a key point of contact for external stakeholders seeking to collaborate with the university on education-based initiatives. Summer Camp Strategy & Execution Develop and expand a portfolio of summer camp offerings in partnership with campus departments and external groups. Manage risk assessment, budgeting, and marketing for youth programs. Ensure that all youth protection, safety, and compliance protocols are followed. Marketing, Outreach & Revenue Growth Conduct market research to identify new opportunities aligned with workforce needs and community interests. Collaborate with marketing and communications to promote programs to target audiences. Track program participation, financial performance, and partner satisfaction to inform continuous improvement and strategic planning. Administrative Coordination Maintain budgets, contracts, registration systems, and evaluation tools for all external programming. Provide regular reports on outcomes, enrollment, and impact.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in education, business, public administration, or related field (master’s preferred). Experience in continuing education, community outreach, youth programming, or partnership development. Strong project management, communication, and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with youth protection policies and risk management for campus-based programming.
