Position Overview Rider University invites applications for the position of Associate Director, Student Accessibility & Support Services within the Office of Student Accessibility & Support Services. The Associate Director provides services for students with disabilities. Individual student needs are assessed and academic accommodations, learning strategies, and environmental adaptations are implemented, and auxiliary aides are accessed. Consulting with professors, other support programs, and other offices, and solving disability-related student problems in a timely manner are essential. The Associate Director will serve as the Director’s backup in the Director’s absence. Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience Graduate degree, Masters Degree level in learning disabilities, special education, education, counseling, psychology, clinical mental health, rehabilitation counseling, or related field. Demonstrated experience working with students with disabilities at the college level. Demonstrated relationship building and maintaining skills. Demonstrated strong writing and communication skills. Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
