Department Information Dean College Of Business Responsibilities Significant Duties and Responsibilities include: Provides administrative support for the Dean

  • Greets and directs visitors, screens and handles telephone communications, deals with administrative problems and inquiries, as appropriate.

Serves as a primary point of contact and liaison between the office, students, and external constituencies on a range of day-to-day issues. Maintains the Dean’s calendar and coordinates meetings with faculty members and external constituents. Monitors the business dean email account and forwards important and relevant emails to the Dean. Facilitates Dean’s travel and submits reimbursements.; Provides administrative support for College

  • Schedules meetings, leads the weekly staff meeting, provides information to college standing committees, takes minutes and/or records college meetings. Assists in monitoring the college budget and providing required account information to staff and faculty as needed.; College event coordinator
  • Responsible for maintaining college calendar of events. Works with dean and other staff to plan and run college events. Responsible for logistics, such as reserving spaces, ordering food, advertising the event, inviting participants, etc. Responsible for updating digital displays in building.; Provides support for alumni and donor relations
  • Assists with donor thank you letters. Point of contact with scholarship recipients to ensure donor stewardship. Responsible for monitoring scholarship allocations. Maintains the college alumni database and updates it every semester.; Coordinates administrative activities for academic affairs
  • Responsible for records related to tenure, promotion, pre-tenure and post-tenure review. Supports tenure, promotion, pre-tenure, and post-tenure review processes with the dean, chairs, and college committees. Responsible for organization of and updating college Teams files/folders. Ensures confidentiality and security of sensitive information.; Provides support to the College as needed
  • Supports the administrative team, that consists of the Dean, Associate Dean, Department Chairs and faculty in fulfilling College goals. Provides support for college events with setup, execution and breakdown. Supports Student Services with advising and solving student issues.; Other duties as assigned . Proposed Salary The proposed annualized salary range for this position is $46,842
  • $51,198 and includes full benefits.
