Director of Admissions Position Available In Walton, Georgia

Director of Admissions Park Place GA 1865 Bold Springs Rd, Monroe, GA 30656 We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Director of Admissions to join our Team! The Director of Admission will monitor census growth, business development, admission activities, and marketing functions. Maintains relationships with residents, families, professionals, and community referral sources.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the admissions process runs efficiently and is a positive experience for residents, families, and supporting staff. Ensure the facility is meeting short-term and long-term census goals. Works toward the successful achievement of the mission of the facility Participates in the ongoing process of quality improvement in order to improve upon the service, standards, and processes of the facility. Responsible for all required daily, weekly, monthly census and activity reports. Make sure all referrals are responded to in a timely manner. Work closely with the Administrator and all others involved to maintain consistent admission, discharge, and transfer meetings. Maintain updated bed availability and facility services information. Ensure all papers are properly filled out and input into the system. Help expedite the admissions process for emergencies. Maintain knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2-5 years’ experience as a successful Admissions Coordinator in a short-term rehabilitation/long-term care facility preferred. Healthcare sales marketing experience preferred. PointClickCare experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, typing, medical terminology, and data entry required.
