QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Strong background in coaching or managing athletic teams or programs2.Strong organizational and leadership skills3.Available to manage program from September to November, Monday Friday between the hours of 3pm 6pm.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1.Assign game officials for all games. 2.Work with transportation supervisor to schedule the busses needed for practice and games. 3.Ensure all coaches are enforcing the rules and regulations provided by the BPS Middle School Student/Parent Handbook4.Ensure that all coaches are abiding by all safety and security measures in place to protect students, staff, and facilities. 5.Order inventory and ensure the maintenance of all equipment and uniforms needed for the programs. 6.Ensure all coaches are CPR and AED certified7.Ensure all coaches and staff follow all the rules and regulations for concussion protocol 8.Report all incidents to the Deputy Superintendent of Operations and the Community Schools Coordinator of Recreation ActivitiesMinimum requirements: strong background in coaching, athletics physical education, program management, and secondary education.
