Libraries The University of Maine Libraries seeks a dynamic and strategic leader to serve as Head of the Collection Services Department. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of academic collections at UMaine, as well as oversight of Interlibrary Loan (ILL) and Cataloging and Metadata management. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to ensure equitable access to scholarly resources, support research and teaching needs, and foster an inclusive, user-centered approach to collection development. As a member of the library leadership team, this role contributes to overall planning as well as policy development and strategic initiatives for Fogler Library in Orono and Merrill Library in Machias. The position also provides oversight for University of Maine System Libraries (UMSL)-wide acquisitions and resource-sharing partnerships, ensuring UMaine remains at the forefront of academic library services. Typical hiring range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
