Glance:

The Senior Program Manager, Faculty, is responsible forsupporting and creating faculty education and training at theuniversity. This role supports faculty in rank and promotionactivities and leads all university/college designations andprofessional credentials. The Senior Program Manager will developand deliver educational materials for the faculty of Chamberlain.

They will guide faculty growth with effective approaches thatpromote exceptional faculty preparation at both undergraduate andgraduate levels. Additionally, the Senior Program Manager willevaluate the effectiveness of scholarship, teaching excellence, andservice opportunities for faculty, ensuring continuous qualityimprovement of teaching/learning materials and modalities.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with university leadership toidentify faculty needs and deliver educational offerings thatadvance faculty effectiveness and professional development. Recruitand oversee facilitators and subject matter experts (SMEs),ensuring high-quality course content and delivery. Completetraining to launch the Interprofessional Continuing Education(IPCE) designation, expanding the program and writing thecurriculum for all health professions faculty (Nursing, PA, SocialWork, Public Health). Collaborate with the American NursesCredentialing Center (ANCC) to ensure compliance with credentialingstandards and enhance professional development opportunities. Leadreaccreditation efforts for all professional organizationcredentials, such as the Center of Excellence designation. Serve asa resource person and mentor for faculty and program leadership.

Drive improved outcomes by monitoring and tracking results againstgoals and outcomes. Provide strategic direction for facultydevelopment communication campaigns. Evaluate and update programmaterials to ensure relevance and effectiveness. Recommend andutilize technology to implement faculty training and developmentcost-effectively. Lead large-scale university-wide projects toimprove faculty retention and demonstrate faculty excellence.

Develop faculty curriculum to support professional development andbest practices in teaching and learning in higher education.

Perform other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies andstandards.

Additional Responsibilities:

Manage the continuingeducation program awarded by the CU accrediting agency, ensuringfaculty and others can earn credits and continue their education.

Oversee the submission and approval of courses that nursing facultyand others will take, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.

Assist in course development by recruiting SMEs for variouscourses, particularly those emerging from the nursing field. EnsureChamberlain University remains compliant with all rules andregulations related to continuing education. Approve course contentto maintain high standards and relevance. Hire and manage SMEs todevelop and deliver specialized course content.

QualificationsEducation:

Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accreditedinstitution (Required) PhD in Nursing or DNP (Preferred)

Experience:

5 years of related experience in higher education witha proven track record of success as a faculty member (Required) 3years of significant experience in a position of academicleadership (Required) 3 years of experience teaching in an onlineenvironment (Required) 3 years of curriculum development experience(Required) 1 year of previous scholarship commensurate with therank of Assistant Professor or above (Required)

Knowledge andSkills:

Knowledge of current research related to andragogy,particularly in higher education settings Demonstrated commitmentto equitable and inclusive practices Proven ability to manage andcoordinate multiple concurrent projects Ability to manage a varietyof business and vendor resources Ability to work independently andmake sound decisions with minimal supervision Proficiency withproject management practices and tools Capability to influence andinstill credibility in administrative team peers and subordinatesby meeting project milestones, deadlines, and budgets Demonstratedability to work collaboratively and build relationships Effectiveand consistent interpersonal, organizational, conflict resolution,and management skills Excellent communication skills Ability towork in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment Knowledge ofequity-aligned curriculum development and pedagogy Knowledge ofcompetency-based education curriculum delivery and development

Licenses and Certifications:

Current unencumbered registered nurselicense (Preferred) Teacher and Learning in Post-SecondaryEducation certification (Preferred) Additional Information Insupport of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country,the expected salary range for this position is between $80,336.75and $145,077.09. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-relatedfactors permitted by law, such as experience and training;geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors;departmental budgets; and responsibility.
