Registrars Job Description As a member of the leadership team within Division of Student Success, provides strategic leadership and project coordination for all academic records functions, ensuring continuity, innovation, and compliance. Through collaboration with Academic Affairs and campus partners, this role supports a seamless student journey through inclusive, accurate, and learner-centered functions and cross-departmental alignment. Supervises the Director of Academic Records, Associate Director of Academic Records and manages the operations of the entire Academic Records team.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the Academic Records team-including Enrollment Operations, Transfer Articulation, Academic Records, and Clinical Nursing Operations, fostering a culture of innovation, inclusion, and excellence that supports student success and a seamless student journey through personalized, data-informed practices.
Responsible for oversight of the academic catalog, course schedule, and academic calendar, ensuring their timely, accurate, and student-centered development and publication. Collaborate closely with academic leaders to align offerings with institutional priorities and learner needs.
Act as a key escalation point for complex issues, delivering clear, compassionate guidance and timely decisions that reflect our commitment to five-star service, academic integrity, belonging, and a seamless student experience.
Collaborate cross-functionally with academic and administrative departments to interpret and apply academic policies, ensure operational alignment, and implement learner-centered solutions that promote flexibility, equity, and a streamlined path to student success. Partner in faculty and life coach training initiatives related to academic advising, helping strengthen holistic and consistent student support.
Review, coordinate, and operationalize new academic programs and programmatic changes, ensuring degree integrity while advancing access, opportunity, and a seamless student journey through consistent, inclusive, and transparent processes.
Partner with internal stakeholders and technology vendors to enhance support systems, leverage digital transformation, and ensure students experience frictionless, tech-enabled processes that contribute to a seamless journey and long-term success.
Lead and implement innovative projects and continuous improvement efforts, using data and stakeholder feedback to identify gaps, improve workflows, and deliver five-star service experiences that elevate belonging, efficiency, and student success.
Represent Academic Records in university-wide committees and accreditation efforts, serving as the institutional records expert committed to compliance, inclusive excellence, and supporting student progress through a seamless academic journey. Serve as a key member of the Commencement planning team, ensuring students’ academic completion and ceremonial experience are celebrated with accuracy, dignity, and care.
Represent Academic Records in university-wide committees and accreditation efforts, serving as the official Registrar and institutional expert committed to compliance, inclusive excellence, and supporting student progress through a seamless academic journey. Serve as a key member of the Commencement planning team, ensuring students’ academic completion and ceremonial experience are celebrated with accuracy, dignity, and care.

Knowledge of academic records functions in higher education
Knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook), Windows, Salesforce CRM, Image Now and Ellucian Colleague, and the ability to learn new systems
Knowledge of the interrelationship among education information centers within the department (financial aid, registrar, and student accounts) and business processes associated with them
Exemplary interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to read and understand reports, clear understanding of the importance of data
Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of equivalent professional/technical experience
