This leadership position is responsible for overseeing student affairs, enhancing student life, and ensuring the academic success of students. The Dean will collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to develop and implement strategic initiatives that promote student engagement, retention, and overall well-being. Responsibilities Lead and manage student affairs programs that enhance the educational experience. Supervise and mentor staff within the student services department to ensure effective service delivery. Develop and implement policies related to student conduct, academic integrity, and support services. Collaborate with academic departments on curriculum development to align with student needs. Oversee budgeting for student affairs programs and initiatives to ensure financial sustainability. Engage in strategic planning to enhance student engagement and retention efforts. Foster an inclusive campus culture by promoting diversity and equity initiatives. Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and administration to address concerns and improve communication. Organize leadership development programs for students to enhance their skills and involvement in campus life. Qualifications Bachelors degree Administration certification preferred, or on the path to administration certification with teachers certification Must have experience in schools, safety and behavior management. Proven experience in higher education teaching or administration with a focus on student affairs. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively. Experience in budgeting and financial management within an educational context. Demonstrated ability in strategic planning and implementing initiatives that benefit students. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong commitment to fostering relationships across campus.
