Position Overview:
The Fundraising Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of fundraising initiatives for the Union Academy Foundation. This position will focus on planning, coordinating, and executing events and fundraisers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Union Academy, skilled in project management, proficient in web based applications, and have experience in fundraising or nonprofit work.
Key Responsibilities Fundraising Strategy & Campaigns:
Work with the executive director to develop and execute creative fundraising strategies, support annual and special campaigns, and oversee the Cardinal’s Corner Store, including POS, inventory, design, vendor relations, volunteer coordination, and events.
Donor Relations & Stewardship:
Maintain strong relationships with current and prospective donors, corporate sponsors, volunteers, parents, students, and board members.
Community Engagement & Outreach:
Foster relationships and engage in community events to generate support for the Union Academy Foundation and promote its mission.
Administrative Support:
Assist the Executive Director with administrative tasks such as scheduling, report preparation, and deadline management, while keeping accurate records of fundraising activities and ensuring an organized office environment.

Qualifications:
Associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) in fundraising, nonprofit, communications, marketing, hospitality, event planning, or a related field Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency in fundraising databases, web based applications like google docs, and social media platforms.
