Develops and implements techniques for evaluating recruitment and develops goals and objectives. Oversees and approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Under the leadership of the AVP for Enrollment Management and Marketing Co-lead the UNH Recruitment team. Develop the annual recruitment strategy and implement this plan with the team of full-time and part-time recruiters for the Manchester campus. In collaboration with designated staff members, determine primary and secondary recruitment markets, using a variety of data tools. Assist in the identification of new markets and adjustments to current markets through the leveraging and analyzing of data. Coordinate with the operational efforts of other associate directors in the admissions office to meet our recruitment goals and strategies. Represent the University to prospective students, guidance personnel, and community service agents through recruitment travel; counsel applicants pre- or post-admission decision. Develop and review budget expenditures. Oversee the work of the UNH Manchester-based admissions staff, UNH Manchester enrollment marketing team and student workers. Oversee the preparation of management and enrollment reports. Develop and manage programs focusing on continuous process improvement. Events/Student Experience Oversees the implementation of all admission events: Open Houses, Admitted Student Days, Guidance Counselor Breakfasts, prospective student, yield, diversity and other special population focused events Oversees on-campus visit experience, tours, campus info sessions Coordinates all print, social, digital and email communication per event Student Engagement Promote UNH Manchester through a range of communication methods and channels: advertising, websites, digital, print and social media Set priorities for marketing; manages annual marketing plan Contributes to development and offers direction for all enrollment marketing collateral: print, website, digital marketing and social media Supports marketing efforts for non-enrollment UNH Manchester priorities Finalizes enrollment e-mail communication plan content Manages relationships with agencies hired for college marketing projects Oversees all digital advertising efforts Processing and Operations Accountable for ensuring smooth processing of inquiries and applications for UNH Manchester campus Troubleshoots systems as need to improve reporting and office functions; systems include WEBI, CRM and Workday. Supervision and Management Develops strategic and tactical plans for enrollment in collaboration with AVP of Enrollment and Marketing and Dean of UNH Manchester Provides enrollment updates for strategic decision making Supervises UNHM enrolment staff: Oversee office coverage, schedules, provides direction to staff, conducts performance reviews, offers regular feedback, handle disciplinary actions, provides leadership, goal setting and training Oversight of student ambassador program and training Reviews and manages budget expenditures Admission vendor liaison: College Board, Princeton Review Chair UNH Manchester Enrollment Committee; closely collaborates with Academic Advising, Financial Aid, Registrar’s Office, Career and Professional Success and the Registrar’s Office Represents Enrollment at Academic Resources and Curriculum Committee Manage a pool of inquiries, applicants and students and provide excellent constituent service. Manage a group of high schools and community colleges, provide excellent communication to facilitate partnerships and pipeline improvement. Manage, organize and cover student recruitment events. Manages technology needs as related to the Recruitment & Enrollment Teams, which includes oversight of CRM and others. Evaluate technology to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Complete yearly data surveys for UNH Manchester Admission from vendors such College Board and Princeton Review in collaboration with UNH staff. Oversee marketing collaboration. USNH NH Transfer/Dual Admission liaison. Merit Scholarship management and oversight. Application File Review process management and oversight in collaboration with UNH admissions management team. Oversee Manchester graduate program liaison, recruitment planning, data reporting, and conversion activities. Readmit application management Process improvement collaboration with Academic Advising and Registrar’s Office, including Degreeworks committee. Transfer credit approval process improvements, management and supervision for all incoming UNHM students. Application review for transfer and first-year students. Create presentations and data analysis. Maintain high standards and keep Manchester practices in compliance with UNH and USNH practices. Serve as a member of the admissions office management group: discuss, research and implement strategies to improve access, application volume, improve quality metrics, yield, and student retention and meet strategic enrollment goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor degree required Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in an admissions environment. A strong understanding of data modeling, analytics and/or financial aid modeling. Excellent analytical skills, including familiarity with projections, financial aid leveraging and enrollment prediction. Demonstrated collaborative communication style with a proven ability to build effective relationships with other departments to accomplish objectives required. Preferred Qualifications; Masters preferred.
