- Graduate Assistantship Position Purpose New England College is looking for Graduate Assistants for 2023-24 in the areas of Game Operations, Strength & Conditioning, Athletics Communications, Men’s Lacrosse, Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey, Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Cross Country/Track & Field, and Men’s Golf.
Responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach or Director in all facets. Assignments can include sport-specific roles and responsibilities and other duties as assigned by the department. The Graduate Assistant Position includes a full graduate school tuition waiver, free on-campus housing, and a school meal plan. Essential Duties Summary Direct Report and Primary Responsibilities
- Assist supervisor or head coach positively in all areas related to the sport or specific role. Community Service
- Be a leader in maintaining and developing a considerable presence in the community by our team members in athletically related events and duties. Teamwork
- There is an expectation that the candidate will be willing to work with other department staff on various large or small assignments. Other Duties
- There will be other duties assigned from the athletics department that might include, but are not limited to, games management and facility management.
