8am – 430pm Job SummaryReporting to theSupervisor of PatientAccess, this position facilitates the patients’ access into thehospital and clinical systems by providing registration, admission,and bed assignment services while protecting the fiscal interest ofthe hospital.

Minimum Qualifications Education High School Diplomaor equivalent required. Experience Minimum one to three years ofRegistration, Hospital Billing required. Licensure and/orCertification Certified Healthcare Access Associate, preferredSkills Knowledge of third party payors. Knowledge of Medicarebilling practices and regulations. Insurance verificationsexperience. Knowledge of Insurance billing practices. Computerproficiency. Excellent interpersonal skills are required tointeract effectively with all organizational levels, withdemonstrated organizational skills and ability to work accuratelywith detailed confidential information. Must have the ability toread, write and communicate in English. Ability to maintainconfidential information.
